Q-Expo is growing alongside the quantum industry. Following the success of our 2025 edition, which brought together nearly 800 delegates from across the globe, the 2026 expo in Bilbao marks our most ambitious event to date.
Set in the historic yet modern Euskalduna Conference Centre, this year’s Q-Expo — hosted by QuIC and co-hosted by Bizkaia — will continue to serve as the central hub for the European quantum community. QuIC is Europe’s largest quantum industry association: a not-for-profit industry association dedicated to the growth of the quantum technology sector and making Europe a global market leader. Their members – large enterprises, SMEs and start-ups, investors, research and technology organisations and other associations – work together to inform policies, shape the foundations of the industry, boost the European industry’s competitiveness, and bring value to Europe, its businesses and its citizens.

Co-Host
The Government of Bizkaia, as the body responsible for the government and administration of the region, has designed the BIQAIN (Bizkaia Quantum Advanced Industries) quantum strategy to impact business competitiveness and innovation, territorial competitiveness and development of talent and technoscientific culture. The quantum ecosystem generated around BIQAIN brings together start-ups, the local ICT cluster, multinational corporations, Research and Technology Organisations and the three main universities in Bizkaia. By means of BIQAIN, the Government of Bizkaia organises sectoral events on quantum technologies, seeks to establish relationships with similar local and international initiatives and promotes the adoption of quantum technologies in companies in the region.

Attending the Q-Expo was an incredibly enriching experience. Over the course of two days, I had the opportunity to immerse myself in a series of fascinating talks that showcased the latest advancements and research in the field.
